This friendly group has been running for a few months. Every member has done some German before, even if it was many years ago. Each month we discuss a topic which has been chosen before the meeting. Members can then prepare in advance what to say, if they so wish. Members contribute as much to discussion as they feel confident to do. In the second half of the meeting we look at some other aspect of German life or culture. Recently we have been watching the film Goodbye Lenin and discussing issues arising from what we have seen.
