Groups

You must be a paid up member of Crowborough U3A before you can attend interest groups. This is an insurance requirement.

The majority of groups are held monthly or fortnightly in members' homes either at 10 am in the morning or 2 pm in the afternoon. Several other groups meet in hired venues or even local cafes. For further information please contact the Group Leader through the link on the relevant group page.

Refreshments are usually provided and we ask members to make a contribution towards the cost of refreshments. Groups are self-financing so the cost of hiring a venue, etc. will be borne by the group.

Our quarterly newsletter will always give a recently up-dated list of groups and their timings. You can also find the telephone numbers of group organisers/leaders, in the newsletter. Please click on 'News' above, and you will see the link to the latest newsletter at the right hand side of the page.

No groups that suit you? If you are unable to find a group that suits your own particular interest or enthusiasm, please contact the New Groups Convenor and we will try to start one. If you wish to join an interest group that is full, you will be put onto a waiting list, and we will try to start a parallel group as soon as there are enough members.
