Our meetings are a sociable and enjoyable way of listening to the music you enjoy. Most of the music we listen to is the music from our younger days.
There is no limit to the numbers of members we can accommodate and we will be delighted to recruit anyone who is interested in the music we listened to during our lifetimes.
Each month we have two musical presentations lasting one hour, with a short interval in between. Our presentations often include music and videos from YouTube, but there are times when we play our actual singles for nostalgia.
Presentations are shared among the members, but there is no pressure to give a presentation. Your enjoyment is paramount.
At least once a year, we have an afternoon tea after the presentation, so that we have time to socialise. In November 2024 we are holding our first Rock & Blues concert in the main hall of the community centre featuring two local bands.
