We will visit privately owned Historic Houses and gardens within easy reach of Crowborough, travelling by car share, starting in April 2025.
The Houses will be those that can be visited free of charge by members of the Historic Houses Association (see their web site). If you do not wish to join the Association you could pay the daily entry charge to each property. The cost to visit these properties and pay at the door on the day would exceed £90. An annual membership of the Historic Houses Assoc is now £68. I suggest if you're not a member yet and intend to be, that you join by early April. See the web site.
Please note - Free access with HH membership cards is offered to individuals, families and informal parties of friends.
We will meet at The Leisure Centre car park each morning at a time to be arranged to sort out car share. Passengers pay their driver £3. At some properties there may be tours to book onto, and there will be time for couples and friends to walk around. Anyone on their own can join Mandy and I as a group. All properties have cafes.
